A traditional soccerball has 32 panels but nowadays brands are experimenting with different panel constructions. Some of these are pattented. Above you can see the printing of the panels.

And finally a real magic: the handstitching of the balls. Tough work and requires a lot of skill. Balls are stitched on reverse side and when finished they are turned out with one move. After this they only need to pull and tighten the last thread. The ball is finished.
