Event though the company itself it was set up in 1989, the brand Lancast was only established in 1997. Our aim was to supply the market with quality products at affordable prices. Such products were sport-, and street shoes. Futball shoes were only a small part of the supply.
The company organized its deliveries from the main office in Budapest to the Central-European market. It enlarged its warehouses as well. Lancast started a swift grow. Its second regional office has opened in Warsow and representative offices in the neighbouring countries. The production itself was controlled by the main headquarters in Taipei.
Our profile slowly began to turn towards sport equipment market. In 2000 futball shoes became the leading product. Lancast sold more shoes in Central-Europe, than any other brand, including the mega brands. It was the time to change the logo. The new „bird like” logo became our symbol for the next seven years.
In the millenium significant changes came and the company expanded the selection of its products. The production of jerseys, balls and other equipments opened more doors to clients. We began to produce professional shoes in Italy, and sponsor professional players and teams. In 2003 we have entered into the topmost european sport exhibition, ISPO in Münch and became regular exhibitors.
In 2007 the brand celebrated its’ 10th anniversary. By this time this brand had a great variety of products: handball, basketball, volleyball, ice-hockey, etc. For its 10th anniversary Lancast that was solely known for football products, gas outgrown into a popular multisport brand.
The time has come to be uphold with a new dynamic image. With its diversified shape and identity the new logo fully reflects the brands characteristics.
